Supporters of presidential candidate Hillary Clinton launched a Latino canvassing effort Sunday in east Las Vegas.
California Congressman Xavier Becerra was in town to help rally support from volunteers. The volunteers also held a phone bank at headquarters.
A number of high school students volunteered.
"So when young people are saying I want to be here, I want to help Hillary Clinton, it's empowering," Becerra said.
The Nevada caucus for the Democratic presidential nomination will take place on Feb. 20.
