UPDATE: The barricade situation ended shortly before noon. SWAT and the K-9 unit went into the apartment to apprehend the suspect. The man was bitten during the arrest. He was taken to the hospital to be treated before going to jail.
The man is facing child endangerment, eluding a police officer, violating a protection order and home invasion.

According to a tweet sent by the Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department, the incident involves a man who is possibly armed. Police say that it began when a woman called Wednesday night, saying her boyfriend was trying to break into her apartment.
