Las Vegas Metropolitan Police are asking for the public's help in identifying a man suspected of sexually assaulting a young girl on Thanksgiving Day.
Police say the man approached the 8-year-old girl and her younger brother at around 1 p.m as they played outside a condominium complex located near the coroner of West Lake Mead Boulevard and North Buffalo Drive.
The suspect, reportedly, then told the brother to go inside so he could talk to the girl.
Once alone, the man took the girl to a secluded area around the corner of the building and then sexually assaulted her, according to investigators.
The man was last seen heading eastbound through the complex.
The suspect is described as a white male with a thin build and either white or salt and pepper hair. He was wearing a blue T-shirt and black jeans.
Officials are asking anyone with information to please contact the LVMPD Sexual Assault Section at 702-828-3421 or, to remain anonymous, call Crime Stoppers at 702-385-5555.
