UPDATE: North Las Vegas police confirmed that Anastasia Barletta was found safe late Saturday morning.

She was turned into the North Las Vegas Police Department Northwest Area Command. North Las Vegas police said the suspects dropped the girl off with someone else and asked that person to return her to police.

Two suspects were taken into custody at a Walmart. They were seen walking a few blocks from the family's car. They were taken into custody without incident.

At this point, police believed the suspects did not know Anastasia's mom. Police said the mother may have been impaired when her daughter was taken. Neighbors said she appeared to be drunk.

A neighbor came across her early Saturday morning and found her bleeding from the mouth. She told police she had been involved in a fight.

"I'm just glad that I walked through at the right time," Santiago Garcia said. "She could've been there all night and [I'm glad that] she's alive and the kid is home safe."
