Las Vegas police are searching for a man that forced his way into a young girl's bedroom.
A call to police was received around 5:20 a.m. on Thursday.

The mother of the victim, who is too afraid to be identified, recounted the terrifying morning.

"The guy came in the house and locked my daughter's door, and said he was her cousin," said the mother, "...When she went to go out her door, he had locked her in."
The child is not physically harmed; however, she is shaken up.
"I don't know how she is yet, crying, not crying," said the mother.
The man broke into the home through a window. The girl is believed to be under the age of 10.
The incident happened in the 1100 block of Morgan Avenue, which is near West Washington Avenue and J Street. Police are currently searching in the area.

Police said the suspect is believed to be anywhere from 18 to 25-years-old. Detectives are asking for the communities help to identify and locate him.
