The Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department says that officers are investigating a body found in the desert area west of Cliff Shadows Parkway and Lone Mountain Road.
Police received a call around 10:41 a.m. on Wednesday from a person walking in the area. The caller also indicated that the victim may have suffered a gunshot wound.
His cause of death and identification is unknown at this point.
