2 suspects arrested in alleged kidnapping

UPDATE: 2 suspects have been arrested. The situation has ended.

The landlord tells 13 Action News that he was in the process of evicting the suspect before Friday's standoff, because of problems he had been having over the past couple of months.

ORIGINAL STORY:

LAS VEGAS (KTNV) -- Las Vegas police are investigating a possible kidnapping after receiving a report from someone at a store in the 3900 block of East Lake Mead Boulevard, which is near North Walnut Road.

The possible kidnapping was reported at 12:50 p.m. The victim told police that he or she had been able to escape and went to the store for help. Police were then able to locate the apartment complex where the person may have been held. They have established a perimeter around the complex and are trying to locate possible suspects or other victims.

There are road closures in the area.
