Police are investigating a shooting on the Las Vegas Strip.
The incident reportedly happened between the occupants of two vehicles on Tropicana Avenue near New York-New York hotel-casino around 1:40 a.m.
Police say that one vehicle and its occupants were traveling south on Las Vegas Boulevard when they turned west onto Tropicana Avenue. Just after they turned, the occupant of another vehicle opened fire.
The male driver and his passenger were both struck. The victims were transported to a local hospital in stable condition.
The suspect's vehicle was last seen traveling west on Tropicana. The police temporarily closed the intersection of Tropicana and Las Vegas Boulevard to investigate. However, it has since reopened.
It is not known at this time what led to the shooting.
