Las Vegas police say a body was found at approximately 10:45 a.m. Friday in a desert area between East Pebble Road and East Agate Avenue, not far from Las Vegas Boulevard South.
The body belongs to an adult male. Police aren't sure how long it has been there, but think the death could be the result of foul play. There is some evidence to suggest a gunshot wound.
Homicide detectives were called to the scene to investigate.
The Clark County coroner will identify the deceased and release official cause and manner of death.
