UPDATE JULY 12: The woman has been identified as 42-year-old Juliane Kellner of Las Vegas. She was shot in the chest and her death was ruled a homicide.

Police are investigating a possible murder-suicide after a welfare check led officers to discover a dead man and woman inside a home in Henderson.
On July 10 around 10:30 a.m. police entered a home on the 600 block of Whitney Ranch Drive, near Stephanie Street and Sunset Road.

Officers found two adults, one woman and one man, with apparent gunshot wounds. They were pronounced dead on the scene.
No other details have been released. The identity of the man and woman will be released by the Clark County Coroner’s Office after the next of kin notification.
This is being investigated as the eighth homicide in Henderson for 2019.
