LATEST: The child has been identified as 3-month old Lucas Tetreault of Las Vegas. His cause of death is still pending.
UPDATE: The Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department released new details about the child's death.
A couple and their four kids were at a friend's house where the incident took place. Around 2 a.m. on Monday, the 3-month-old was found face down and unresponsive.
Child protective services took the other three kids from the parents. All children were under 7 years old.
LVMPD's Abuse and Neglect Division is investigating the death.

LAS VEGAS (KTNV) -- Police are investigating the death of a small child at an apartment complex near Charleston and Lamb Boulevards Monday morning.
The parents told police they found their child unresponsive in their apartment.
Abuse and Neglect Detail is at the scene to determine if there was any criminal or suspicious activity surrounding the child's death.
