UPDATE: Disturbing details released about man who allegedly lured girls with candy

UPDATE: Police have released the arrest report for Jose Azucena. According to the report, Azucena preyed on four young girls who lived in the same apartment complex where he lived with his wife. The incidents came to light after one of the victims told a neighbor about what reportedly happened.

One of the victims told police that Azucena, whom she called her "grandfather" despite no relationship, touched her inappropriately "many times." The girl said that Azucena told her that he would hurt her mom if she said anything. She also told police that the incidents began when she was 7 (she is now 8).

The second victim told police that Azucena would often take his "thing" out when she and her sisters and a friend were outside playing.  She told police that Azucena told the girls that if they told their mothers, he would take the girls far away and kill their mothers. The victim said that the man also showed her a video of a man and woman kissing each other's things. In addition, she said that Azucena touched her thing with his thing through their clothing.

Victim number three told police that Azucena had put his hands inside her clothing and rubbed her vagina. She also said that Azucena told the girls that they would be his queens.

The fourth victim told police that Azucena took her clothes off one day and taped her legs and hands together. He also put tape over her mouth. he then began kissing her cheeks, rubbed her hair and groped her breasts. He also put his fingers in her vagina.

The mother of the fourth victim told police that she had noticed a difference in her daughter's attitude over the last year and that her grades have gone down and she is much quieter and is not as outgoing as she used to be.

After he was arrested, Azucena denied having in sexual contact with the girls. He also refused to give his consent for a DNA test.

LAS VEGAS (KTNV) -- Police have arrested a man accused of sexual misconduct with children.
 
On Oct. 17, detectives were contacted regarding allegations of inappropriate conduct by an adult male and several juvenile victims.
 
The report alleged the suspect was a neighbor of the victims and had been luring children to his apartment where he then committed sexual offenses against them.
 
Investigators say the incidents took place over the last year in an apartment complex located in the 4800 block of East Charleston Boulevard, near Nellis Boulevard.
 
The suspect was known to the victims as “David” and he had reportedly lived in the complex for several years.
 
“David” allegedly would lure the children to his apartment with the promise of candy, and then commit sexual acts.
 
Detectives were ultimately able to identify “David” as 63-year-old Jose Azucena.
 
On Nov. 12, Azucena was located by a Henderson police officer in the 1200 block of South Boulder Highway and was identified as a suspect.
 
He was transported to the LVMPD Headquarters campus for an interview and was ultimately arrested and transported to the Clark County Detention Center.
