LATEST: The suspect, identified as 23-year-old Lawrence Manriquez, was booked into the Clark County Detention Center where he faces the following charges:
UPDATE: 13 Action News has obtained surveillance video that shows a portion of what happened after a police vehicle began chasing a suspect thief.
In the video, you can see the police vehicle chasing another vehicle. Suddenly, two people walking on the sidewalk can be seen ducking. It is believed that is when the shots were fired.
A couple minutes later, more police cars can been seen giving chase.
Eventually, the suspect crashed his vehicle and attempted to escape by running into the Wynn. The suspect was arrested in the valet area.

LAS VEGAS (KTNV) -- Las Vegas police say a robbery suspect shot at a police car on Friday morning.
The incident began at a 7-Eleven in the 3800 block of Maryland Parkway.
Police say that shots were fired during a robbery and that the suspect also shot at a police car.
The suspect fled to the Wynn hotel-casino near Las Vegas Boulevard and Spring Mountain Road and was taken into custody in the valet area after the suspect crashed his car.
Roads in the area were closed for a couple of hours to investigate the incident. They were all reopened by 7:15 a.m.
