LAS VEGAS (KTNV) — Las Vegas police evacuated a downtown complex as they responded to a person who fired several rounds from their residence.
The shooting made police close Charleston Boulevard between 28th and 30th streets in both directions. LVMPD told KTNV that a perimeter was set for the public's safety.
Police said the person went back inside their residence Thursday night and is refusing to communicate with officers.
Officials urge motorists in the area to use other routes until they announce that the matter is resolved.
LVMPD's investigation is still ongoing. KTNV is following updates on this closure and will provide updates once information becomes available.
