JUNE 21 UPDATE: Las Vegas police have identified Bettie Ann Pires as the suspect in the murder of 50-year-old Kevin Thomas on Nov. 22, 2016.

A detective on the scene found a Pizza Hut box behind the driver's seat of Thomas' abandoned vehicle and a receipt from the purchase was found under Thomas' body. That receipt indicated that the order had been picked up by "Betty." The detective contacted the Pizza Hut listed on the receipt and received the surveillance video from the time of the purchase.

The video showed Thomas enter the Pizza Hut with a woman and two small children on the day of his murder. A phone number on the receipt and the aforementioned name led police to Bettie Ann Pires.

A series of text messages recovered from the day of the murder led police to believe that Pires was the last to come in contact with Thomas and she had done so at least 30 minutes before his death.

Detectives state that this information provides probable cause for the murder of Thomas.

NOV. 27 UPDATE: The Clark County Coroner identified the victim as 50-year-old Kevin Thomas from Las Vegas.

No suspect or suspects have been identified.
