LAS VEGAS (KTNV) -- Police are investigating a fatal crash Tuesday afternoon near Craig Road and Simmons Street.
Investigators say a pedestrian was struck by white Dodge Ram while crossing the street around 4:25 p.m.
The 76-year-old victim was in extremely critical condition but later died of his injuries at UMC Trauma. Police said he was in a crosswalk.
The 24-year-old female driver remained on scene.
Police said it is unknown whether the car or person had right of way. It does not appear impairment or distracted driving were factors.
The intersection was blocked off for much of the evening as police investigated.
