HENDERSON (KTNV) — On Sept. 25 at approximately 5:30 a.m., Henderson Police and Fire responded to eastbound St. Rose Parkway east of Raiders Way in reference to an auto-pedestrian collision.
Preliminary investigation revealed a 2014 white Dodge Charger was traveling eastbound on St. Rose Parkway east of Raiders Way when it struck a pedestrian. The pedestrian was deceased at the scene.
The driver of the Dodge Charger remained at the scene, was cooperative with the investigation, and showed no signs of impairment.
Eastbound St. Rose Parkway was closed while fatal accident investigators conducted their investigation.
The name of the pedestrian killed in the collision will be released by the Clark County Coroner’s Office after next of kin notifications. The crash is being investigated as the sixth accident-related fatality for 2020.
