Las Vegas police say that a pedestrian was hit by a car near Paradise Road and Sahara Avenue around 8 a.m. Wednesday.
The pedestrian was transported to the hospital with critical injuries.
Westbound Sahara Avenue and northbound Paradise Road are shut down near the scene of the crash.
