UPDATE: Pedestrian identified after Summerlin crash

UPDATE: Police say a 77-year-old woman has died after being stuck in by a truck. The driver of the truck may face charges of vehicular manslaughter because the woman was in a crosswalk and had the right of way.

The woman was identified as Anne Elizabeth Caputa of Las Vegas. She died of blunt force injuries due to the crash.

LAS VEGAS (KTNV) -- A pedestrian has been struck by a vehicle near Alta Drive and South Pavilion Center Drive late Sunday afternoon.

The incident happened at 4:45 p.m.

Las Vegas police have called out their fatal detail unit to investigate due to the critical injuries of the pedestrian.
