The owner of the Lion Habitat Ranch says concerns that Ozzie the giraffe was chained up are simply not true.

A woman contacted 13 Action News with a video shot from outside the facility that appears to show Ozzie moving in one place as if stuck.

We showed the video to Habitat manager Keith Evans says the video is misleading.  He says what you're actually seeing in Ozzie playing with his toy brush that is used to scratch his neck.

Evans says he's upset that the person who shot the video wouldn't have just reached out to him, because he would have easily explained that Ozzie has never been chained up.

Evans says Ozzie is given plenty of land to move around in and even has heated floors.

Ozzie is the only giraffe in Nevada, and is also famous for painting with brushes.
