An overnight fire was reported at the California Hotel in downtown Las Vegas Thursday.
Pictures from Las Vegas Fire and Rescue showed damage near an ice cream shop inside the hotel.
Fire officials said it was a display cooler on the counter that caused the fire with the sprinkler system able to extinguish the flames before crews arrived.
The casino was not impacted and no injuries were reported
