UPDATE NOV. 21: A judge decided on Monday that Hogs & Heifers will be allowed to stay for now at its downtown location.
The bar's owner was served an eviction notice last month, just days after she hosted an event in remembrance of 9/11.
The Downtown Grand owns the property where the bar is located and says that it attracts a bad crowd.
Both sides are expected to be back in court on Dec. 17.
ORIGINAL STORY
A months-long battle involving a downtown Las Vegas bar and a downtown casino is now headed to court.
The owner of Hogs & Heifers, Michelle Dell, is taking on her landlord and neighbor, the Downtown Grand.
Dell was served a cease-and-desist letter and an eviction notice earlier this year as she was planning her annual 9/11 tribute parade.
After 13 Investigates reported on that dispute, the parade was allowed to continue as scheduled.
The Downtown Grand then filed court documents claiming Dell's business has created an unsafe environment in the area.
Dell says this ongoing dispute has cost her financially and forced her to relocate several annual charity events.
