Police have confirmed that the man who was hit by a truck on the U.S. 95 near Boulder City died Wednesday night.

Officers say the man was walking in the second traffic lane of the U.S. 95, seven miles south of the Interstate 11 interchange when he was struck around 8:22 p.m. The Nevada Highway Patrol says he was rollerblading when he was hit.
The driver of the red truck was driving at the 75 miles per hour speed limit when the crash occurred and showed no signs of impairment.
