UPDATED 12:01 A.M.: Las Vegas police continue to investigate a deadly shooting on the city's northwest side.
The shooting occurred around 2 p.m. at the Liberty Village Apartments in the 3500 block of Dromedary Way near North Nellis Boulevard and East Cheyenne Avenue.
A security guard, who did not want to be identified, tells 13 Action News he saw two men running through the apartment complex with a gun.
"It was all caught on camera," he said.
Another witness, who only wanted to be identified as Monica said one of the injured men flagged her down.
"My husband had that boy's blood all over him. My heart hurts," said Monica. "The boy came running up towards me saying, 'Help me ma'am I've been shot.' I grabbed him and he fell into my arms and I put him on my porch."
Investigators with LVMPD says this appears to have started over a "transaction" gone bad.
"One person is saying there was going to be buying and selling of firearms," said Lt. Dan McGrath with LVMPD. "I don't know if it's narcotics related."
He went on to say a group of men got into a fight and began firing several rounds.
A number of guns were recovered inside an abandoned apartment, including one thrown into a nearby dumpster.
In total four people were shot, three of them injured with bullet wounds, including one man who died at the apartment complex. Officers are still looking for a fourth victim with a possible gunshot would to the neck.
Officers are looking for one suspect described as a black male with a long dreadlock ponytail. He was last seen wearing basketball shorts and may have been leaving the area in a silver pickup.
Anyone with information is urged to contact the LVMPD Homicide Section at 702-828-3521 or Crime Stoppers at 702-385-5555.
