UPDATE MARCH 2: An 11-year-old girl was arrested for obstructing a peace officer and conveying false information about terroristic threats after the investigation into a Snapchat post about a school shooting.
The girl has been placed on house arrest.

The Nye County Sheriff's Office spoke out on a threat that has been circulating around social media.
Rosemary Clarke Middle School at 4201 North Blagg Road in Pahrump was the school mentioned in the threat. They recognize that a violent act was made but say they've found no credibility in the threats.
On Wednesday night, the sheriff's office sent out this Facebook message to parents:
In a Facebook video Thursday morning, they assured parents that they are taking the protection of the students very seriously and have placed deputies at the middle school.
