PAHRUMP (KTNV) — Deputies in Nye County asked the public to help identified a wandering toddler on Monday.
As of 12:40 p.m., officials with the Nye County Sheriff's Office reported the child had been identified.
The sheriff's office got a call after the toddler was found wandering on Bourbon Street in Pahrump, a spokesperson for NCSO told 13 Action News in an email.
"The child's family member saw our push out on social media and immediately called," Capt. David Boruchowitz said.
The child was reunited with family, "and circumstances of wandering deemed to be a legitimate accident," Boruchowitz said. "There was no sign of abuse or neglect."
Boruchowitz said the sheriff's office would not release any further information about the incident.
