LAS VEGAS (KTNV) — A North Las Vegas Police officer was hospitalized Wednesday afternoon, creating a heavy police presence throughout the valley.
According to the North Las Vegas Police Department, the officer suffered complications they believe stemmed from a "prior duty-related illness" not connected to the heat or any current police incident.
Officials said he was transferred from Mountain View Hospital to Sunrise Hospital, where he is in critical condition.
