No injuries were reported after a small plane crash outside of Tonopah Wednesday morning.
The crash was reported around 11:13 a.m. on U.S. 6 about 10 miles east of Tonopah, about one mile from the Tonopah Airport.
According to the Nye County Sheriff's Office, the pilot experienced a mechanical issue and attempted to land at the airport before the crash. The FFA is investigating.
There were two occupants in the aircraft.
