LAS VEGAS (KTNV) — Nevada Highway Patrol is looking for a hit-and-run driver after a crash Thursday morning that injured a trooper.
NHP said the trooper was walking on the side of Boulder Highway when he was struck by a vehicle.
The agency believes that the driver of a dark-colored pickup intentionally hit the trooper.
This crash happened around 1:20 a.m. near Desert Inn Road and the incident was recorded by the trooper's body camera.
He was not seriously injured and was released from a local hospital Thursday afternoon.
The truck involved probably has substantial damage to the left headlight, according to authorities.
Anyone with further information was asked to contact the Nevada Highway Patrol.
