LAS VEGAS (KTNV) — Nevada Highway Patrol says 31 people were given tickets on the first day of their new HOV lane enforcement along the US Highway 95 and Interstate 15.
The tickets are not cheap. Fines start at $250.
The HOV lanes are now enforced 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.
You need more than one person in your car and you can't enter or exit the HOV lane over the double white lines.
