7:05 P.M.
Henderson police report the department is investigating a shooting that involves an officer on Boulder Highway between Sunset Road and Galleria Drive. North Boulder Highway was closed for the on-scene investigation. READ MORE

Las Vegas police are looking for the shooter who officers say fired a gun into a vehicle with two people inside near Bonanza Road and 14th Street around 6 a.m. READ MORE

10:05 A.M.
The Henderson police and fire departments have responded to a report of a suicidal subject near Sunset Road and Stephanie Street. They are asking people to avoid the area.

10 A.M.
Las Vegas police are investigating a stabbing that left one person in critical condition earlier today. Officers responded to reports of the stabbing around 6:45 a.m. near Nellis Boulevard and Vegas Valley Drive and found two people with injuries. One had stab wounds and was transported to Sunrise Hospital. At last check, around 7:30 a.m., they were in critical condition, police say. The other person was transported to UMC with a non-life-threatening laceration injury. The investigation remains ongoing.

6 A.M.
Firefighters in Las Vegas are on the scene of an incident inside a parking lot near Charleston and Valley View boulevards. Chopper 13 was above crews as they worked, watched in the player below. Check back for updates as more information becomes available.

Crews respond to incident inside parking lot near Charleston, Valley View

OVERNIGHT
Las Vegas police are investigating a hit-and-run crash involving a motorcycle and a truck shortly before 10 p.m. on Wednesday. According to authorities, the motorcycle crashed into the side of the truck while the truck was making a turn onto northbound Sandhill Road from Charleston Boulevard near the US-95 on-ramp. The motorcycle rider was taken to the hospital and is expected to survive. The driver of the truck left the scene. Anyone with information is urged to call the police.
