The following is a roundup of breaking news from around the Las Vegas valley.

5:59 P.M.

UPDATE SEPT. 29: Sequoia Luster has been located, according to North Las Vegas police.

The North Las Vegas Police Department was asking for help in finding a 31-year-old female, Sequoia Luster. She went missing on Sept. 21, at about 2 a.m. in North Las Vegas. Authorities later said she was located safely on Sept. 29.

4:16 P.M.
Las Vegas firefighters responded to a fire at the Las Posada complex on Mountain Hills Court near West Lake Mead Boulevard at 4:16 p.m. A fire was found on the patio. Two adults and one teenager have been displaced. The cause is under investigation.

OVERNIGHT
Las Vegas police are investigating two separate incidents in the valley overnight.

One person is dead after a crash near Russell Road and Maryland Parkway shortly before 8 p.m. on Tuesday. READ MORE

Unrelated to the crash, Las Vegas police are looking for the person responsible for firing shots outside of the Aria hotel-casino on the Las Vegas Strip overnight. READ MORE
