The following is a roundup of breaking news from around the Las Vegas valley.

7:53 P.M.
UPDATE SEPT. 28: The Clark County Coroner has identified the decedent as 46-year-old Thomas Sean Decelles from Las Vegas. His cause of death was blunt force injuries and it was ruled an accident.

LVMPD Traffic Fatal Detail detectives are en route to a two-vehicle collision that occurred at Russell Road & Maryland Parkway. The driver of one of the involved vehicles died at the scene.

The driver of the other vehicle remained at the scene.

Russell Road is closed in both directions between Spencer & Paradise. Please avoid the area as traffic is being rerouted.

8 P.M.
SWAT officers were able to end a barricade situation near Ebb Tide Circle and Gillespie Street with a woman taken into custody.

2:41 P.M.
LVMPD officers were conducting follow-up on a stolen vehicle near Ebb Tide Circle and Gillespie Street. The vehicle became occupied and as officers were attempting to arrest the driver, she drove into the home's driveway. Officers attempted to block her in she began to ram both the police cars and the home. Officers believe the female is armed with a weapon and are attempting to deescalate the situation, and SWAT has been notified. Please avoid the area.

2:30 P.M.
Police are on the scene of a situation on Cobble Creek near Alexander Road and Tenaya Way. Homes have been evacuated. READ MORE.

OVERNIGHT
Police in Boulder City say a man is recovering from a gunshot wound with non-life-threatening-injuries today after an argument became violent overnight. According to authorities, the Arizona man was shot in his leg during a confrontation with another man from Arizona at their hotel on 110 Ville Drive around 1 a.m. The second man was taken into police custody. The case remains under investigation at this time.
