The following is a roundup of breaking news from around the Las Vegas valley.

UPDATE 3:55 P.M.
Henderson police say one woman is in custody after a barricade situation in the 800 block of North Major Avenue near Burkholder Boulevard. Officers say she was taken into custody without further incident.

2:30 P.M.
Henderson police are on the scene of a barricade situation in the 800 block of North Major Avenue near Burkholder Boulevard. Police say that 2 ex-roommates got into a fight over property and now one of the roommates is refusing to leave the residence. There are some road closures in the immediate area.

6:40 A.M.
A barricade that lasted for several hours overnight is over. Police say that it was resolved without incident and they have taken someone into custody.

OVERNIGHT
At approximately 10:52 p.m. Monday, Las Vegas officers responded to a residence in the 1000 block of Sonora Hill Court (West Charleston Boulevard and Desert Foothills Drive) for reports of a person threatening to hurt themselves. Arriving officers contained the residence and during the call, gunfire was heard from inside. This is being treated as a barricade and is an ongoing event.
