7:30 P.M.
Sahara Avenue closed in both directions near Palace Station as Las Vegas Metropolitan Police investigate a fatal crash. FULL STORY.
3 P.M.
A driver had to be extricated from a sedan after it was hit by a pickup truck hauling a landscaping trailer on eastbound Summerlin Parkway, east of Buffalo Drive, according to Nevada Highway Patrol. The driver had non-life-threatening injuries. Lanes were temporarily closed after the crash, first reported around 12:30 p.m.
12:24 P.M.
No injuries have been reported in a fire in the 5600 block of Tanya Avenue, near Jones Boulevard and U.S. 95. Two adults and one teen were displaced. Fire appears to have started after an electric cooking device was left on when no one was home.

12:30 A.M.
Police find male victim with gunshot wound at 1720 W. Bonanza Street near Martin Luther King Boulevard. Victim transported to hospital in critical condition. Police say shooting happened during some sort of gathering or party. No suspect information at this time.
