3:57 P.M.
Firefighters responded to 3413 North Irv Marcus Dr. for a garage fire. The flames were knocked down and no injuries were reported.

3:16 A.M.
Las Vegas police say they arrested a man after receiving reports of shots fired in the 4600 block of Alpine Place near Decatur and Charleston boulevards. Police discovered a car that had crashed into a fence on Bedford Road and observed a man running away. A perimeter was established and K9 called in. The man was found hiding about a half a mile away and taken into custody. A gun was located nearby.
