The following is a roundup of breaking news from around the Las Vegas valley.
5:30 P.M.
Henderson police were called to the 200 block of South Gibson Road, near Paseo Verde Parkway, for a possible shooting. Authorities later said a 39-year-old man was shot and killed while getting his items from a home at that location. The male shooter left the scene in a 4-door Porsche and remains outstanding. 5:13 A.M.
Las Vegas Fire & Rescue are on the scene of a fire at 3436 Lacebark Pine Street near Gowan Road and Hualapai Way. They are reporting heavy fire and smoke in the 2-story house.

Firefighters later reported the fire started in the attic of the home but were able to extinguish the flames without any injuries. Damages were estimated at $150,000 with the Red Cross assisting the residents.

Las Vegas police say two men got into a fight overnight on the casino floor near a set of elevators and one of them pulled out a gun. READ MORE.
