The following is a roundup of breaking news from around the Las Vegas valley.
6:45 P.M.
North Las Vegas police are investigating after a 63-year-old woman was struck by a vehicle on Camino Al Norte just south of West Ann Road. The initial investigation shows that she was crossing outside of a crosswalk. The driver of the vehicle stayed on scene and impairment is not suspected. Camino Al Norte is closed from West Ann Road to West Washburn Road while police investigate.
The woman killed was later identified as 63-year-old Lovely Guance by the Clark County Coroner's office.
