The following is a roundup of breaking news from around the Las Vegas valley.

7:27 P.M.
LVMPD officers have responded to the Miracle Mile Shops due to reports of a shooting. One victim, an adult male, has been transported to the hospital. The extent of his injuries is unknown at this time. Shooter(s) are not in custody and are believed to have run northbound on the Blvd after the shooting. This is not considered an active shooter at this time. Please avoid the area.

12:53 P.M.
RTC reports a 10-mile backup on Interstate 15 southbound towards California. Expect delays.

10:39 A.M.
Las Vegas firefighters are investigating the cause of a fire that displaced one person and their pet. Crews responded to a house fire on Carlin Avenue near Stewart Avenue and Nellis Boulevard shortly before 10 a.m. There are no injuries to report.
