Travel delays are expected on SB I-15 at Primm as holiday travelers head back to California.

1:14 P.M.
Las Vegas police responded to a traffic collision at the intersection of Bruce Street and Charleston Boulevard that injured a pedestrian and killed his dog. Officers said one of the vehicles struck the man who was standing on the corner along with the animal. The dog was deceased at the scene and the pedestrian was transported to the University Medical Center in critical condition.
12:10 P.M
Las Vegas Fire and Rescue reported two brush fires were burning in a desert area near the North Las Vegas Airport. The fires were under control but producing a lot of smoke in the northwest part of town.
3:50 A.M.
Police report two people were shot near Riley Street and Lone Mountain Road in the northwest area of town. The shooting appeared to be related to a house party in the area, according to officers. Both victims were transported to the hospital in serious condition with no suspects in custody.
