The following is a roundup of breaking news from around the Las Vegas valley.

12:26 P.M.

Rollover crash in Las Vegas

LVMPD is on the scene of a crash near Harmon Avenue and Spring Valley Parkway. Police say the adult male driver of an SUV crashed into another vehicle causing minor damage. The SUV driver attempted to flee the scene of the initial accident. While fleeing at a high rate of speed he lost control of the SUV. The SUV rolled ejecting the driver. Police say the male suffered what appeared to be life-threatening injuries. He has been transported to the hospital. Impairment is unknown and speed is believed to be a factor. The male is still alive. Traffic officers are on scene investigating. Spring Valley Parkway is shut down in both directions from Harmon to Gunderson.

7:45 A.M.
UPDATE NOV. 11: The Clark County Coroner has identified the victim as 36-year-old Alexius Sala from Hayward, CA. Sala's cause of death was a penetrating gunshot wound to the head and it was ruled a homicide.

Las Vegas police are investigating a homicide near 3280 Wynn Road and Desert Inn Road. Police say a man was shot and they are looking for 2 people.
