The following is a roundup of breaking news from around the Las Vegas valley.

5 P.M.
Las Vegas police are investigating what appears to be a domestic-related shooting in the area of North Rainbow Boulevard and West Cheyenne Avenue. A man was shot three times, but the injuries appear non-life-threatening. The man who shot him is not in custody yet, but they believe they know who he is.

1 P.M.
Red Rock Canyon National Conservation Area says it is closing the scenic loop temporarily because it has reached capacity. They will reopen when the crowds thin.

11:30 A.M.
The Walmart located at 4505 W. Charleston Blvd. where a fire took place earlier this morning has reopened.

9:44 A.M.
There was a fire in a fryer at McDonald’s inside Walmart located at 4505 W. Charleston Blvd. The fire was put out by the fire sprinklers. The store has been evacuated and the crews are currently cleaning up. No injuries reported.

6:08 A.M.
Las Vegas Fire & Rescue is on the scene of an apartment fire on Harris Avenue near Maryland Parkway and Bruce Street. The fire is out and no injuries have been reported. Firefighters say that the fire was in a closet.
