The following is a roundup of breaking news from around the Las Vegas valley.

6 P.M.
UPDATE: The missing veteran has been found.

North Las Vegas Police Department is asking for help to locate a 62-year-old Army veteran Pierre Bingue, who was reported missing by his family today. He was last seen on foot near his home near West Alexander and Simmons Street, at about 4 a.m.

Bingue is described as a Black male, about 5’ 7”, 150 pounds, brown eyes and is bald. He was last seen wearing a black hat, blue hooded sweater, black Adidas pants with a white stripe, white Nike Air Force shoes, a black lanyard with his veteran ID, and a walking cane.

Bingue suffers from dementia and kidney problems. He does not have access to his medications.

Anyone with information on the whereabouts of Bingue is asked to contact the North Las Vegas Police Department immediately at 702-633-9111.

3:50 P.M.
All westbound lanes are blocked on Charleston Boulevard near Honolulu Street. Use other routes.

Las Vegas police say officers responded to the intersection due to reports of a crash involving a sedan and a pedestrian shortly before 3 p.m. The pedestrian was transported to UMC Trauma with unknown injuries. The driver was also transported to UMC but with minor injuries, police say. It is unknown at this time if impairment is a factor in the crash.

1:34 P.M.
RTC is reporting several traffic lights are out near downtown Las Vegas. Treat them as a 4-way stop.

The intersections include Bonanza eastbound at Main Street, Bruce Street at Stewart Avenue and 6th Street at Stewart Avenue.

UPDATE 10:30 A.M.
Roads are open again near North Aliante Parkway and North Broadwing Drive after a deadly motorcycle crash in the area around 5:30 a.m. READ MORE

9:49 A.M.
NV Energy reports a power outage impacting 388 customers in the 89101 ZIP code caused by a downed pole or wire. The outage was first reported on Saturday shortly before noon, the company says, and expects power to be restored around 11:15 a.m. on Sunday. For updates click here.

North Las Vegas Police Department is on the scene of an early morning motorcycle crash near North Aliante Parkway and North Broadwing Drive that killed one man believed to be 21 years old. READ MORE
