The following is a roundup of breaking news from around the Las Vegas valley.

7:53 P.M.
Las Vegas police are investigating after a man's body was found at a vacant home on Brady Avenue, near Eastern and Washington avenues, around 2:40 p.m., police say. Officers believe it is a homicide. The cause of death is unknown at this time.

1:53 P.M.
Nevada Highway Patrol is on scene of a single-vehicle crash near I-15 and Las Vegas Boulevard. NHP says a women was in the vehicle and she is conscious and talking. The cause of the crash is unknown at this time.

10:59 A.M.
Clark County Fire Department on scene of "aircraft emergency" at McCarran International Airport. Spokesperson for airport says a Learjet aborted on takeoff. 4 people evacuated from plane. No injuries reported. No other information available at this time.

8:50 A.M.
Nevada Highway patrol says that I-15 should be completely open soon. They also say that the woman who died was 27 years old. 3 other drivers were taken to a local hospital. READ FULL STORY.

7:41 A.M.
North Las Vegas Fire Department is on the scene of a fire at 1001 E. Carey Ave. near Donna Street.

6 A.M.
Nevada Highway patrol says the wrong-way driver, who they believe was impaired, is dead and 2 other people have been transported to a hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.

4:45 A.M.
2 crashes on I-15 north near Lake Mead Parkway and Cheyenne Avenue have resulted in the northbound lanes being closed. At least 1 person has died. Major delays expected.
