The following is a roundup of breaking news from around the Las Vegas valley.

1:45 P.M.
Blue Diamond Road has reopened after a crash this morning. Nevada Highway Patrol is now reporting that the crash was not fatal. However, 2 people are in extremely critical condition and a 3-year-old, who was in the back seat, is alert and appear to have no major injuries. The driver of the semi was transported to a local hospital with minor injuries. At this time, it is not known exactly how it happened. FULL STORY.

12:08 P.M.
Police are investigating a death after an incident at 4778 Marnell Drive near East Harmon Avenue and Mountain Vista Street. Police say they received a call about a possible robbery-home invasion. Upon arrival, police saw a person being held down in the front yard. The person was transported to a local hospital and was pronounced deceased. Multiple people were are the home at the time of the incident. FULL STORY

11:30 A.M.
1 person is dead after being shot near Major Avenue and Van Wagenen Street on Friday morning. 2 other people were transported to a local hospital. It is not known if they were shot and their condition is unknown. FULL STORY

11 A.M.
First responders are on the scene of a serious crash at Blue Diamond Road and Torrey Pines near Rainbow Boulevard. One person is dead. It appears that a car drove underneath a semi, what is usually referred to as an underride. All eastbound lanes on Blue Diamond are being closed. FULL STORY
