UPDATE (6/15/20): The Clark County Coroner has identified the woman who was fatally shot as Johnaya Brown. Her cause of death is still pending.
A woman is dead after she was accidentally shot on her patio near Eastern and Bonanza around 11:30 p.m. Wednesday, according to Las Vegas police. Officers are investigating whether she and her boyfriend were playing with a gun at the time of the incident. Kids were inside sleeping. No one else was hurt, according to authorities.
Earlier in the night, around 10 p.m., police say numerous calls were made regarding shots fired at an apartment complex in Las Vegas. Police say one person is dead and another hospitalized in unknown condition connected to that shooting. READ MORE
