The following is a roundup of breaking news from around the Las Vegas valley.
2:00 P.M.
Crews from Clark County Fire Department and Las Vegas Fire and Rescue are on the scene of a mobile home fire near East St Louis Avenue and Palm Street. Officials say the fire is almost out and there are no injuries to report.

UPDATE 11:43 A.M.: Police are responding to reports of multiple school fights aaround the valley. CCSDPD says the total number of female students cited at Chaparral High School is now 12. At Canyon Springs, the officer who was assaulted was punched in the face twice prior to the deployment of pepper spray. No word on who sprayed it.
11:15 A.M.
School police say there was a second fight today at a different school. 10 female students were cited for fighting at Chaparral High School near Twain Avenue and Annie Oakley Drive. Pepper spray was used to stop the fight, police say.
UPDATE 8:40 A.M.: A Clark County School District bus driver is injured and one student is in custody after a fight at Canyon Springs High School, according to school police. READ MORE

School police say they are investigating an incident at Canyon Springs High School near Alexander Road and 5th Street. There are reports online of a fight on campus. That has not been confirmed by authorities yet. Check back for updates.
