The following is a roundup of breaking news from around the Las Vegas valley.
OVERNIGHT
UPDATE (5/22/20): The Clark County Coroner has identified the person who was killed as 30-year-old Lamar Poe. His cause of death was gunshot wound to the neck and it was ruled a homicide.
Police in North Las Vegas say one person is dead and two others are recovering from critical injuries at the hospital after a shooting on Civic Center Drive near Cheyenne Avenue shortly after midnight. Police say the shooting happened outside of an apartment complex in the area and all three people shot were transported to the hospital in critical condition. This morning officers learned one of those people transported died. There is no suspect information at this time. The shooting remains under investigation.
