The following is a roundup of breaking news from around the Las Vegas valley.

7 P.M.
North Las Vegas police are investigating a deadly shooting in the 4900 block of Harold Street, near Lone Mountain and Losee Roads. A 12-year-old boy found his 48-year-old father shot and killed inside a home at that location. READ MORE

5:29 P.M.
Police are responding to a shooting that involved an officer in the 3100 block of Bel Air Drive, inside the Las Vegas Country Club community. Authorities report a suspect was taken into custody. READ MORE

3:20 P.M.
Officers identified a suspect who was arrested Monday after a barricade situation in the 2200 block of Diamond Pointe Street as 39-year-old Ronald Beattie. He was booked on one count of murder with a deadly weapon stemming from a homicide investigation on April 27 where a man was shot and killed in the 540 block of East Harmon Avenue. READ MORE

11:31 A.M.
The missing baby and stolen vehicle have been found. Police say they have taken someone into custody. FULL STORY.

10:47 A.M.
Police are looking for a stolen car with an infant inside. Police say a woman was loading groceries into her car when it was stolen at 6500 block of Vegas Drive near Torrey Pines Drive. The car is a blue Dodge Charger with temporary plates and a shattered rear window.

6:30 A.M.
Clark County Fire Department is on the scene of a fire at 4450 Karen Ave. near Lamb Boulevard. Several units are on the scene. The fire is in an apartment bulding.
