Red Rock Canyon is very busy today and is at capacity so the Scenic Drive is temporarily closed until some people leave. The National Conservation Area made the following post on Facebook:
UPDATE 10 A.M.
Las Vegas police say they found 16-year-old Zoe Powell around 10 a.m. in the northwest part of the valley on Laurelwood Lake Avenue, near Shaumber and Farm roads. She is safe, detectives say.
8:59 A.M.
Las Vegas police are looking for a teen they say is missing and possibly in danger. Authorities say 16-year-old Zoe Powell may be in severe emotion distress and in need of medical assistance. She was last seen on Saturday around 8:30 p.m. in the area of Centennial Center Boulevard, near Ann Road and the US-95. She was wearing a white shirt and white pants, police say.
Police say all hospitals are asked to check their registries for the missing person and notify the police immediately. It should be noted that HIPAA permits disclosure upon request by law enforcement and is authorized pursuant to 45 C.F.R. section 164.512.

Nevada Highway Patrol says there was a deadly crash involving a pedestrian southbound I-15 south of Lamb Boulevard shortly after 11 p.m. on Saturday. Around 12:30 a.m. on Sunday, the agency tweeted all southbound traffic was being diverted off at Lamb due to the crash. READ MORE
